Real news on TV at last

I guess I’m not the only one who is fed up with the crap that is passed off as news by out broadcasters. I mustn’t be because a group of journalists and other activists around the world have actually got together to start an alternative news network – Independent World Television.
It’s an enormous undertaking, which will survive from subscriber support. One of the guys bringing it all together, and project chairman, Canadian journalist Paul Jay is really keen to get feedback on the concept.
If you go to their website, which they are currently reworking, there are options to sign on for email update, leave a comment or tell a friend. If you give a damn about the quality of news broadcasting go and have a look, then sign on as a supporter.

Paul Jay says, on the site: "Tell the world you want to know. Tell the world you have a right to know. You can make IWT a reality... We are now working to create production units in Iraq and Afghanistan that will report on the real face of the war."

Well the prospect excites me, and I hope it stirs enough of you go and have a look.
